Last week, we had the privilege of being in a webinar with Amy Holdsworth, the CEO and founder of Clarity Street. The session, titled “Engage & Then Re-engage with Ease,” offered a wealth of practical tips and strategies for improving client engagement in the accounting industry, with a particular focus on the Australian market.
Amy, began the webinar by emphasising the importance of a smooth onboarding experience for clients. She highlighted that the first interaction with a client is critical and can significantly influence client retention.
The discussion then moved to Seamlss, the latest addition to the Clarity Street. app stack. Amy was particularly excited about this product because it addresses a major challenge in the industry: onboarding new clients. Seamlss not only simplifies the onboarding process but also minimises human error by putting the responsibility back on the client.
Clayton Wood, Co-founder of Seamlss and an accounting firm owner himself, joined the conversation to share his insights. He explained how Seamlss was born out of his own experiences with the challenges of onboarding. The goal of Seamlss, he said, is to make the process as easy as possible for clients, from collecting and verifying their details to getting them engaged and onboarded with the firm.
One of the standout features of Seamlss is its ability to push client information directly to Xero Practice Manager (XPM), eliminating the need for manual data entry. This feature was a hit with Amy, who noted that it not only saves time but also ensures data accuracy by allowing clients to input their own information.
Importantly, Seamlss also assists in meeting the verification and documentation requirements set by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). This is a significant advantage for accounting firms, as it ensures compliance while also streamlining processes.
The webinar concluded with a live demonstration of Seamlss, showing attendees exactly how the app works from both the firm and client perspectives. The demo highlighted the app’s user-friendly interface, its form builder feature, and its ability to request documents from clients securely.
The webinar was a resounding success, providing attendees with valuable insights into improving client engagement and streamlining the onboarding process. The introduction of Seamlss to the Clarity Street app stack is a game-changer for the industry, promising to make the onboarding process smoother and more efficient than ever before.
