# Sign in with Xero

Sign in with Xero lets you log in to Seamlss with your Xero login. It works when your Xero login uses the same email as your Seamlss user.

**In Seamlss:** **Sign in with Xero**, on the Seamlss login page.

## Sign in

1. Select Sign in with Xero
   It's under the **Log in** button.

2. Log in to Xero if asked
   If you're already logged in to Xero, this is skipped.
3. Allow access the first time
   Xero asks you to give Seamlss permission. You only do this once.

**Does it count as a secure login?** Your firm can turn on **Enforce Secure logins** under [**Settings**, **Users**](https://seamlss.app/Dashboard/Settings#users). Staff then need an authenticator app, or Sign in with Xero, to log in.

## Something not working?

 It won't let me in

Your Xero login probably uses a different email from your Seamlss user. Use the same email in both, or log in with your Seamlss email and password.

I don't have a Seamlss account yet

Sign in with Xero only works for an account that already exists. [Register your firm](https://seamlss.com.au/help/register-now/) first, then link Xero. Joining a firm that already uses Seamlss? Ask its admin to add you.
