# When notifications don’t arrive

Work down this list. Most missing notifications are one of the first three.

**In Seamlss:** **Settings**, **Notifications**.

[Open Notifications](https://seamlss.app/Dashboard/Settings#notifications)

## Check these in order

1. Is it switched on?
Go to [**Settings**, **Notifications**](https://seamlss.app/Dashboard/Settings#notifications) and check the switch next to that notification.
2. Does it have a recipient?
A notification with no email address, and no Account Manager or Partners tick, reaches nobody.
3. Does the test arrive?
Select **Test**. If the test arrives, your settings work and the problem is elsewhere. If it doesn't, keep going.
4. Is it in junk?
Notifications come from **noreply@seamlss.com.au**. Add it to your safe senders, and ask your IT provider to allow email from seamlss.com.au if your filtering is strict.
5. Is the person set up to receive them?
In [**Settings**, **Users**](https://seamlss.app/Dashboard/Settings#users), edit the user. **Receive notifications** must be ticked, and **Send notifications to someone else** may be diverting them.
6. Does the client have an Account Manager or Partner?
The Account Manager and Partners ticks follow the client. A client without one recorded only sends to the email addresses you entered.

## Missed notifications for a few days?

Fix the cause first with the checks above, then catch up on what came in while they weren't arriving. There's no list of notifications sent, but everything they would have told you is still in Seamlss.

1. Check the Actioned tab
On your [Dashboard](https://seamlss.app/Dashboard), the **Actioned** tab lists requests clients have completed and that are ready for you. Look at the **Last Updated** date for anything from the days you missed.
2. Read the audit history for those days
Select **Audit history** at the bottom of the Dashboard. It logs every action with the date and time, including what clients did, such as finishing a request or sending a file.
3. Follow up anything still waiting
Clients who started but didn't finish are under **Follow Ups**. Chase them from **Recipient Options** on their row.
