# Register your firm

Registering creates your firm's Seamlss account, with you as its admin.

**Joining a firm that already uses Seamlss?** Don't register. Registering creates a separate firm. Ask your firm's admin to add you from **Settings**, **Users**, and you'll get an invitation by email.

## Fill in the form

1. Name your organisation
   Enter the name your clients will see. It's usually your trading name rather than your entity's legal name, and it shows throughout your dashboard too. Then choose your country. If yours isn't listed, use **Register your interest**.

2. Add your details
   You become the firm's admin, so ideally this is whoever will pay for the subscription when the trial ends. Use your work email, because the confirmation email goes there.
3. Agree and register
   Tick **Agree to terms and conditions** and select **Register**. You'll also see **Sign up with Xero** under the form. We recommend the form instead, because a Xero sign-up means extra work later to link your subscription and emails to your account. ## Confirm your email and log in

1. Open the confirmation email
   It goes to the email you registered with. Select the link in it to confirm your address.
2. Log in
   Go to the [login page](https://seamlss.app/Identity/Account/Login) and log in with your email and password.

3. Start with Setup
   You land on the Setup page, which lists what to do first. See [Start with the Setup page](https://seamlss.com.au/help/setup-guide/).

## Something not working?

 The confirmation email hasn't arrived

Check your junk folder and mark it as not junk. Still nothing after a few minutes? Use [Resend email confirmation](https://seamlss.app/Identity/Account/ResendEmailConfirmation) on the login page. You can't register a second time with the same email.

I forgot my password

Select **Forgot your password?** on the login page.

I registered, but I should have joined my firm
